Obituary

Martin J. Walsh III, of Maple Glen, passed away on Friday evening, November 15, 2019. He was 76 years old. "Joe", as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, was born on March 14, 1943 to the late Martin J. Walsh, Jr. and Catherine M. (née Repcik) Walsh in Philadelphia. He worked as a truck driver for Morrisey Construction Company and also worked at SPS Technologies in Jenkintown. Joe was an avid baseball card collector and also enjoyed car racing.

Joe is survived by his loving companion, Tina Coblentz, as well as her children and grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, James P. Walsh and his wife Holly as well as his sister, Patricia M. Hanrahan and her husband John. Joe is predeceased by his brother, Edward Walsh as well as two nephews: Mitchell Walsh and John Hanrahan. He is survived by many nieces and nephews: James Walsh, Kelly Walsh, Kathleen Swider, Michael Hanrahan, Edward Walsh, John Walsh, and Jennifer Sullivan.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Joe's life from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. followed by a time of sharing and remembrance at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Craft-Givnish of Abington, Inc. 1801 Old York Rd. Abington, PA 19001. Interment is private. Memorial contributions in Joe's name may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org. Family services are entrusted under the care of Craft-Givnish of Abington, Inc. 215-659-2000.
