Obituary

Left this earth peacefully on October 12, 2017 after having 82 wonderful years with family and friends. Born in Shamokin, PA to Martin and Mildred Bradley. Beloved husband of Rosemary (Casper) for 39 fantastic years! Loving father of Laura (Kevin) Holden, Martin, Adrienne and Stephen. Fun Grandad to Jason, Matthew, Tyler, Colin, Erin, James and Bradley, and great granddaughter Paisley. Godfather to Alyson Connole. Survived by his sister, Adrienne Bradley, SSJ and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth, Ronald, Robert and Allan.

A US Marine Corps Veteran he retired after proudly serving for nearly two decades. His tours of duty included Korea, Japan, Viet Nam and numerous US Military Bases performing work as an avionics officer. After leaving the Marine Corps he went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from LaSalle University and then started a second career as a civil servant for the US Army Corps Engineers and then US General Services Administration in management positions. He then retired after 20 years of civilian service and became a Volunteer Tax Aide for AARP preparing income tax returns and providing technical support for almost 20 years. An avid Phillies Phan, he was ecstatic when they won the 2008 World Series and he and Rosemary were able to enjoy a Phillies Cruise – meeting several of the World Series players, discussing baseball and trying on the World Series Ring. Both enjoyed traveling – cruising to numerous European countries several times, including Russia, as well as areas in the US.
