Obituary

Mary Van Dyke Briggs 97 passed away September 24, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Cranbury NJ. Predeceased by her Husband Nicholas Kellogg Briggs after 61 years of marriage.

May and Nicholas lived in Kingston, NJ for 37 years. She served Kingston Fire Co. as Axillary President, President of Kingston School PTS, Girl Scout Troup Leader and started a Teen age Club.

She managed the cafeteria at the Kingston School for the State of NJ and then transferred to Princeton High School Cafeteria where she managed Food Service for all of the schools in the Princeton Township and retired in 1975.

She and her husband retired in Key Marathon where she was very active. She was a Pink Lady for Fisherman's Hospital. She called Bingo for the Senior Citizens. She joined the Marathon Moose Club where she was the Senior Regent and received her cap and gown from the Auxiliary.
She worked part time for Smith-Kline as a courier and at a Day Care Center for working mothers.

Due to poor health, she and her husband moved to Pennsylvania in 1997 to live with her Daughter, Mary and husband Milt.

She loved to read and crochet wheelchair blankets for the Veterans. She and her Daughter Patti went on a cross county trip in 2003 and many trips with daughter Mary and Milt.

She is survived by her children and their spouses;
Mary Elizabeth Konvalinka and Milton Konvalinka, Patricia Ann Reick and Jack Reick and Nicholas Donald Briggs and Julia Briggs.
Grandchildren;
Deborah Hydock, Linda Wilkes, Jeffrey Clark, (predeceased) Dennis Clark, Kathleen Colborn, (predeceased) Karen Colborn, Dana Keenan, Jenny Kulick, Nicole Cooper and Shawn Briggs.
Great Grandchildren;
Monique Haubrich, Kayleigh Wilkes, (predeceased) Alyssa Eisemann, Corey Thurmond, Colton Thurmond, Justus Cooper, Briggs Kulick and Jack Kulick.
Great-great Grandchild;
Rachel Kitchenman

Memorial Service will be private.

In lieu of flowers her wish is a donation to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Cancer Center
