Milton Frank Whitehead, 88, left this earth to be reunited with his late wife Anne on October 14th 2021 at Ann's Choice in Warminster, PA. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Frank and Dorothy (nee Knoblich) Whitehead. He was the beloved husband of 61 years to Anne (nee Burns) Whitehead and loving father of David (Renee) and Daniel (Ruth). Also surviving are his 4 grandchildren, Matthew (Daniel), Madelaine (David), Maxwell (David) and Lydia (David). Milt was also the brother of the late Dorothy Bennett.

Milt was an Army Veteran, serving proudly during the Korean War and was awarded the "Commendation Ribbon with Metal Pendant" known as the "Commendation Medal" by the Army in April of 1955 for Meritorious Service.

He was a proud graduate of Northeast High School in January of 1951 and graduated Magna Cum Laude from LaSalle University in 1961 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.

He joined Philadelphia Life Insurance Company in January of 1951 rising from the commission department to Executive Vice President of their Eastern Home Office. Later in life, he and Daniel established a successful Insurance Brokerage business together.

Milt grew up in Fishtown, lived in West Philadelphia, Southampton, Huntingdon Valley and most recently at Ann's Choice in Warminster. Milt and his wife Anne were longtime congregants at Huntingdon Valley United Methodist Church and met at East Montgomery Avenue United Methodist Church.

He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan who remembered waiting in line overnight with sandwiches given him by his mother to buy 1950 World Series tickets at age 17. He enjoyed attending local college and professional sporting events with his father, sons, friends and business associates throughout his lifetime.

Milt enjoyed summers on the south jersey beaches as a child, husband, father and grandfather.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Life Celebration services at Huntingdon Valley United Methodist Church,3470 Huntingdon Pk., (corner of Byberry Rd. and Huntingdon Pk.), Huntingdon Valley PA, where he served on the building committee. The Visitation will be from 10 to 11:00 AM, with services at 11:00.

Interment will be held privately at George Washington Memorial Park following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Milt's name to Ann's Choice Benevolent Fund Ann's Choice Benevolent Care Fund, Philanthropy Dept., 20000 Ann's Choice Way, Warminster, PA 18974.
