Obituary

Patricia Ann Hatter, 77, longtime resident of Warminster, was called to be with our Lord on October 20, 2021. She was born May 5, 1944 to John "Jack" James News and his wife Stella (nee – Fleisher) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was pre-deceased by her parents and by the Hatters' son.

Pat was the beloved wife, for 53 years, of John "Jack" Hatter; the cherished mother of the late John Christopher "Chris" Hatter; sister of Susan Coram and her husband Kevin; and is also survived by a loving extended family.

Pat was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia, a graduate of John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School, Class of 1962. She pursued higher education, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Education from The Pennsylvania State University, Class of 1967.

After their marriage, Pat joined Jack while he served in the United States Air Force.

Later, after returning to Pennsylvania, Pat took Accounting Classes at Temple University, and used these skills during her working career as an accountant for several local companies. Her last employer was the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, Doylestown, where she worked for nearly three decades. The intersection of her working and personal lives was assisting her husband Jack with his 33 year-long business, VOLUME CONTROL, which specialized in the sale of books pertaining to World War 2, travelling to book fairs and shows as well as utilizing her accounting acumen to assist in managing the office tasks.

In her free time, she enjoyed antiquing and travelling, both internationally and domestically. Among her favorite collectibles were: teapots, Santa Claus figurines, Victorian tumble-ups, thimbles and Victorian calling cards. While she was younger, Pat particularly enjoyed sewing and beading, creating and decorating clothing and household décor.

Pat will be sorely missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
