Raymond J. Herman, 78, of Brigantine passed away at home on Tuesday November 1, 2016. Ray was born in Atlantic City and graduated from Atlantic City High School Class of 1957 and went on to attend the Philadelphia Museum of Art School.
Ray was an entrepreneur for many years in the city of Brigantine. He participated in many fishing tournaments and was a member of the Starcraft RV Camping Club. Friends will not only remember Ray's love for riding his motorcycle but also his love for fishing, boating, camping and his passion for preparing gourmet meals. Ray's greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was known for his jolly laugh that will forever be missed.

He is the son of the late J. Raymond and Elizabeth Mae Herman (nee Hesketh).

Ray is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years Marion L. Herman (nee Grottola) and his children Ken Herman and wife Donna, Linda Campisi, Diane Nabrzeski and husband Robert, Darlene Bleyhl and husband Daniel and Buffy Herman. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ray's Life Celebration on Saturday November 5th, 2016 from 10 to 10:50am at St Thomas Church, 8th Street and Brigantine Ave, Brigantine. Memorial Mass will follow at 11am. Interment is private.
