Raymond T. Berger, 76 was born and raised in Philadelphia, passed away at Abington Hospital on December. 15 2016. Ray served his country serving in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1964. After he was discharged Ray started his career for Bell Telephone as a lineman "pole man" then working in the regional office and after the Verizon merge as a cable splicer before ending his career with 30 years of service.

Ray was a member of the Rockledge Fire Company served as a Fire Policeman. Raymond also was a member of the American Legion Post 366, Corp. John Loudenslager in Fox Chase, and served as a Election Day Constable for Abington Township. Ray is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Williams), his loving son Raymond Jr; niece Lynne Nowlin, two nephews, Donald ,Philip Nothe, a great niece, three great- great nieces, and a great- great nephew.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ray's Life Celebration Monday at 9:00AM to 10:00AM at the Dean Geitner Givnish Life Celebration Home 7900 Oxford Avenue(at Borbeck) Philadelphia PA 19111. Funeral Service will begin at 10AM. Interment will be on Tuesday 9AM at Washington Crossings National Cemetery 830 Highland Avenue Newtown PA 19046. Funeral procession will line up 7:45AM at the Dean Geitner Givnish Life Celebration Home and will take leave at 8AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial Presbyterian Church of Fox Chase, 7902 Oxford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19111 in Ray's memory would be appreciated.
