Richard Leo White of Warminster, PA died peacefully on June 26, 2020 at the age of 96.

Richard (Dick) is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Joree; daughters, Kathi, Mariann and Sally; sons Doug and Steve; brother Dave, sister in law Inez; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Richard was born on October 15, 1923 in Louisville, KY to parents Leo and Mary White. During World War II Dick served in the Army in the European Theater where he fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He later graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in mechanical engineering.

His degree led him to a career in sales and design of industrial pumps. He started his career in Michigan with Blackmer Pumps, later transferring to the East Coast where the family settled in Harrington Park, New Jersey for 50 years. During that time, Dick and Joree started their own company, Arcadia Equipment, which focused on industrial pumping solutions.

Dick was an accomplished pilot. He owned multiple planes over 45 years, including his beloved Beechcraft Baron. He also flew gliders and even built a single person airplane in the garage of his home.

When he retired after 35 years of building Arcadia Equipment, he and Joree moved to Warminster, PA where they met wonderful friends and fully enjoyed the opportunity to travel extensively. Dick became involved in the model airplane club, played bridge and enjoyed other social activities in the retirement community.

At Joree's request, no services will be held.

Condolences may be sent to Joree White at 16000 Ann's Choice Way, CP- 105, Warminster, PA 18974. Donations may be made to the Ann's Choice Benevolent Fund.
