Robert F. Toth, 83, a longtime resident of Jackson Heights, New York, died peacefully on Monday, Feb. 27 at the Attleboro Community in Langhorne, Pa., where he lived since 2015.

Born in New York on Nov. 3, 1933, to Frank and Anna Toth, Bob had a long career as an elevator-systems designer, working for many years for Millar Elevator and Schindler Elevator. He was a quiet person, but spoke through his many wood carvings, model ships and his other art, and loved magic, and was skilled at sleight-of-hand card tricks.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine, who had been with him at Attleboro. He is survived by his sister, Eleanor, and her husband, Ed Schartner, of Port Charlotte, Fla.; his children and their spouses, Julie and Bill Power of Yardley, Pa., and Rob Toth and Nancy Fitzsimmons of Maplewood, N.J.; his grandchildren Kate and Hannah Power and Henry Toth; as well as his two nieces and their families, Kelly Kochan and Gary Rosenfeld of Danbury, Conn., and Eric and Joey, and Barbara and Patrick Tierney of Garden City, N.Y., and Kelly, Shannon, Kylie and Connor.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a Life Celebration at noon, on Saturday, March 11, at Dunn/Givnish of Langhorne, 378 S. Bellevue Ave., Langhorne, Pa.
