Ronald J. Porretta passed away on December 3, 2019 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of the late Madelyn D. (nee Myers); loving father of Ronald, Jr. (Denise) and Lynell Carpino (Gene); cherished grandfather of Ronald, III, Miranda, Adriana, Camilla and Geno; dear brother of Nicholas Porretta (Bonnie); significant other of Joanne Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, Joanne's grandchildren and family. Family meant everything to Ron. He was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan and a car enthusiast.
Relatives and friends are invited to Ron's Life Celebration Wednesday, December 11th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, December 12th, from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. at John F. Givnish Funeral Home, 10975 Academy Rd., Phila., followed by his Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m., at Christ the King Church, 3252 Chesterfield Rd., Phila. Interment private.
