Ronald "Tweety" Quigley, 75, of Linwood, NJ entered into rest on Sunday November 4, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Edward and Alice (Mooney) Quigley. He was the loving and devoted husband of Caroline "Coogie" Phillips.

Ronald was a graduate of Atlantic City High School. He worked for Red Top Cab Company in Atlantic City as a cabbie for six years. Ronald then attended and graduated Barber College and owned and operated a barber shop at the Garden State Race Track in Cherry Hill, NJ for six years. He then went on to work at the Monmouth Park Race Track in Oceanport, NJ for over 30 years as a Mutuel Clerk selling the patrons many winning tickets.

Ronald was a member of Union Local 137 and loved not only working but playing at the track. He also enjoyed Skiing, golf, traveling and coaching little league. Moreover Ronald embodied the qualities of loyalty, caring, fun, generosity and was a wonderful story teller.

Ronald will be missed and fondly remembered by his wife and forever love; Caroline "Coogie" Phillips, daughter; Lucille "Cissy" (Tim) Hoffmann, grandson; Dylan Hoffmann, sisters; Alice (George) Reed, Susan (Ronald) Hanson brother; Edward Quigley, stepsons; Dominic (Colleen) Phillips, Douglas (Massiel) Phillips, step-grandchildren; Dominic Jr., Cassidy, Jonathan, Nicolas Phillips, sister-in-law; June (Dr. John) Welsh, dear friends; Patty Quigley, Sandy Tozzi Yani and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Isabelle Ward.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ronald's Life Celebration Catholic Service on Saturday November 10, 2018 at 6:15pm at Jeffries and Keates funeral Home, 228 Infield Ave., Northfield, NJ 08225. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00pm until time of service. Final commendation and farewell will be Tuesday November 13, 2018 at 1:00pm at Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville, NJ.
