Obituary for Rosalie "Rosie" Anescheck

August 6, 2021
Willow Grove, Pennsylvania

Rosalie "Rosie" Celine Anescheck, 92, of Willow Grove, Pa., passed away on August 6th, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Anna (Stephen) Repella and the late Phillip Repella. She was the wife of the late Mike Anescheck for 52 wonderful years. Rosie was born in Mt. Carmel, Pa., and lived in the Warminster area most of her life as well as Las Vegas for 20 years. She was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School class of 1946.
Rosie was a devoted wife, sister, mother, gran, great gran and great- great gran. GREAT is an understatement! She was an amazing cook, especially for her family and she loved to clean. She will ever be remembered for her favorite holiday traditions, especially Christmas Eve and her famous "Polish" fish soup. She enjoyed classic movies and game shows, especially Jeopardy. Her dogs Sophie and Spanky were her constant companions and brought her much joy.
Let's talk sports! She was an avid Philly fan; she loved the E-A-G-L-E-S, Phillies, and the "Nittany Lions". Her favorite place to visit and spend many hours was the Casino. There was not a better way to end her day than hitting a Royal and celebrating with a glass of red wine.

Rosie was known as the "Energizer Bunny". It was evident in her work ethic as well. She worked as a secretary for the Navy in her early years. She later worked as a retail manager and property manager well into her 80's.

Rosie is survived by her 5 loving daughters, Michele, Patti (Wayne), Dollie (James), Donna (Bruce), Angel; 15 Grandchildren, Renee (Brian), Michael, Megan (Dale), Janine (Doug), Dan (Christen), Anthony (Nancy), Nicole (Pat), Shannon (Matt), Kristen (Mike), Kim (Tom), Joe (Jeri Lynn), Pat (Erin), Sierra, Brittany, Brian; 24 Great Grandchildren; and one Great-Great grandchild. She is also survived by her sisters, Corrine (Bill), and Vivian (Roman); and brother, Phillip "Mousey." Rosie is preceded in death by her 3 sisters, 3 brothers and her son- in- law, Barry.

Her strong faith carried her through her through the good and bad, and we find peace knowing that she is now in arms of the Lord.

Relatives and friends are invited to Rosie's Life Celebration on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 9:30AM to 11:00AM at St. David Church, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
