Obituary

Stanley Eugene Wiley, 81, of Brigantine died peacefully in his home on Sunday April 30, 2017; finally resting from his 23 year battle with Lymphoma.
Stan is survived by his wife, Janice (Jan); children, Christyne Chiacchia (Russel), Michael Wiley (Becky) and Debra Wiley (Deborah Jacobs); grandchildren, Zion, Brooklyn, Alyssa, and Cassidy Chiacchia and Eric Wiley; and sibling, Donna Poling (Doug), Franklin, TN.

Stan was born on March 7, 1936 in San Diego, CA, to the late Etta Mae and Everett B. Wiley. His life has been an "Adventure" of travel and seeking to help people grow. He spent his life's work in ministry, mission work and counseling. He served churches as a pastor in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey; most recently in Brigantine. He served as a Hospice Chaplain, as well as Chaplain for Rescue Missions in New Jersey, Florida and North Carolina. He served multiple community colleges as a Career Development Counselor. In short, he led a life of service helping others, with a generous and infectious spirit.

Stan was an accomplished singer and musician and often shared his talents in church and on stage. He was a deeply spiritual man who loved God and Family and who was passionate about spreading Christ's message of love and redemption. His book Save Christmas for Christ Alone is a testament to his faith and the love he had for all those he encountered.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday May 5, 2017 at 11:00 am at Brigantine Bible Church 103 Bayshore Avenue, Brigantine with a luncheon to follow. Visiting time will precede the service at 10 a.m. Pastors Bill Davis and Steve Tuttle will officiate the memorial service. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Stan's life.
