Obituary

Stuart Bruckner, age 55, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2017, after a courageous but brief battle with glioblastoma. Born May 8, 1962, the youngest of four children, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lisa (Martino), his children Jarrett, Dalton, and Paige, and his father-in-law Albert Martino, sister and brothers-in-law Patty (Martino), Michael Marlin, and Raymond Martino, siblings Michael (Robin), Marc, Michelle, his father David, plus many nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him. Preceded in death by his mother Ann (Epstein).

Stuart had the ability to put a smile on everyone's face with his quick wit and sense of humor. He was a hard worker who spent most of his career in sales, his experience culminating in him becoming a successful business owner. But he was most proud of becoming an amazing, ideal father and husband, providing everything he could for his family and giving them endless love after a difficult childhood. He played hard, too. Stuart spent most of his free time on the fields playing with his balls…soccer balls, that is. From a young age up until his passing, he spent countless hours giving back to the communities he lived and worked in, by volunteering his time and sharing his knowledge and skills to teach the sport he loved so much.

Stuart will be fondly remembered by all who met him as a fun, caring, generous guy, always willing to lend a hand. He will be forever loved and missed.

Stuart's Life Celebration will be held on Tuesday, October 24, from 10-11:30am, at Craft Givnish of Abington, 1801 Old York Rd. Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery.
