Obituary

Thomas W. Corcoran, age 51 , passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday January 30, 2020. Born on March 19, 1968 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He is survived by his wife, Cyndi and children Madelynn and Thomas "TJ", parents Nikki (Jim) Donlen, and Tom (Betty) Corcoran, and sisters Karen (Todd) Mullaney, Kristen (Marc) Anderson, and Kim (Chris) Heuer. All of these he loved. Beloved uncle, son-in law, brother-in-law, godfather, cousin, and friend to many.

He was a dedicated family man that enjoyed spending time with his wife and kids. So many family vacations that trekked across the country and, most recently, he took everyone to Ireland. He leaves his family with many cherished memories. He enjoyed going down to the shore and his annual golf trip to Myrtle Beach with buddies. A fantasy football Phanatic, he often boasted of his blockbuster players and superior teams.

Throughout his years, Tommy was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. A lifelong passion for sports began as a goalie at Parkwood Youth Organization. A high school legend at George Washington and college phenom at North Carolina Wesleyan, Tommy would love to share stories of all the great times he had.
Tommy had a love for music, and enjoyed going to see Kenny Chesney every year with family and friends. He was a long time employee for Modell's and grateful to be part of such a tremendous company. Tommy was full of life. Such a fun character to be around, he knew no strangers. Tommy loved to joke around at every chance he got, and always made people laugh. He had a uncanny knowledge of random facts and relished playing jeopardy every night with his daughter. He loved watching movies with his son and dishing out quirky quotes at any chance he got.

In 51 short years, he created so many amazing memories that will never be forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to Tom's Life Celebration, Tuesday, Feb. 4th, from 6-8pm, and Wednesday, Feb. 5th, from 9-10am, at John F. Givnish of Academy Rd., 10975 Academy Rd., Phila, and to participate in his Funeral Mass, 10:30am, at the Church of St. Anselm, 12670 Dunks Ferry Rd., Phila.
