Obituary

William T. McCray, Sr., of Levittown, passed away on December 13, 2019. He was 81 years old. "Bill" as he was affectionately known by to his family and friends, was born in Easton, PA to the late Reverne McCray and Marjorie (née Thomas) Whiteman and was also predeceased by his stepfather, Oliver Whiteman. He was the husband to the late Joyce E. (née Eisenbrey) McCray who passed away in 1995. Bill worked for a short time for the Pennsylvania Railroad and was then self-employed as owner of Calmac Services building & maintenance for several locations in Bucks County until his retirement. He with his son Bill, Jr. enjoyed sharing time together hunting, fishing and many other outdoor sporting activities In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles with family and friends as well as riding quads and dirt bikes. He also enjoyed stock car races and was an avid archer, fisherman and camper, but hunting with his dogs was his favorite hobby. Bill frequently attended Calvary Chapel in Philadelphia and also enjoyed spending time at home watching several pastors and programs on T.V. as well as listening to Hillsong Worship and The Gaither Brothers.

Bill is survived by his four children: Kim E. O'Boyle (John), Sherry L. Martini, William T. McCray, Jr. (Kimberly), and Michelle E. Waslenko (John J., Jr.) as well as nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. He is survived also by his sister, Kathy Becker (Steve) and is predeceased by two nephews. George Bintliff, III, brother-in-law and his son, surviving his wife Elaine and a son.

Relatives and friends are invited to Bill's Life Celebration Service on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel, 13500 Philmont Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19116 where friends may call after 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Newtown Cemetery.
